CPD Webinars & Events for Nurses
Not every CPD activity needs to be a course. A good webinar, podcast episode or conference session counts too, as long as you keep a record of it and reflect on how it applies to your practice. Below is a mix of live sessions, on-demand recordings, and upcoming events worth having on your radar.

- ACN Nurseclick – Regular live webinars and events from the Australian College of Nursing, covering clinical, leadership and career topics. Some are free, others are member-priced.
- Ausmed Events & Webinars – A running schedule of live webinars across clinical specialties, part of one of the most established CPD platforms in Australian nursing.
- APNA education webinars – Live sessions from the Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association, aimed at nurses working in community and primary care.
- ACMHN and ACM webinars – Both the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses and Australian College of Midwives run specialty-specific live sessions for their fields.
On-demand webinars and podcasts
- Ausmed recorded lecturettes – A large library of short, recorded clinical talks you can watch anytime, available through Ausmed.
- CIAP Nursing & Midwifery Podcast/Media – A free podcast and media hub from NSW Health’s Clinical Information Access Portal, covering practice-relevant topics.
- “Nursing Australia” podcast (APNA) – A news and education podcast produced by APNA covering primary healthcare, EN supervision, nurse practitioners and more.
- CNSA Podcast – A specialty podcast from the Cancer Nurses Society of Australia, for anyone working in oncology nursing.

- Ageing Australia National Conference – 24–26 November 2026, ICC Sydney. The peak national conference for the aged care sector, relevant if you work in or are moving into aged care nursing. Event details
- ACN National Nursing Forum – 5–6 August 2027, Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. ACN’s flagship national leadership and education event. Event details
